Working rules

Are Adam glasses smart glasses with a camera in Singapore?

Adam glasses and the Adam Clip are planned products from Optimus Lunar Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore. Planned camera behaviour: the Clip takes one photo when a person presses, asks, and releases. It does not take video. A light shows when the camera is on. That behaviour is planned. Neither device is on sale on this site.

Does the camera stay on?

The working rule is that a camera is for scoring a finished task, not for covert monitoring. Productivity tracking must not become covert monitoring.

What is the rule in a classroom?

The working plan says: no capture of students, the camera stays off during lessons, and use is teacher-led.

What is the rule near a patient?

The working plan says prompts near a patient can be voice-only, and the camera is off by default. The nurse in charge signs off.

What is the rule in a home?

The working plan's household rules are written consent, no covert recording, and a way for the person to pause. Camera-off zones in that plan include a bedroom, a bathroom, and a rest area.

Who handles a personal-data question?

Frederick Wong is interim data protection officer until a compliance officer is in seat. Reach the office by the phone, the contact form, or WhatsApp on this site. The formal privacy notice is still a draft.

Do the forms on this site store what I type?

No. The contact form and the community forms do not store a submission on this website. A message leaves only if you send it yourself.

Is this page a PDPA certificate?

No. This page explains working rules from the plan. It is not a finding that a product is compliant, and it is not legal advice.
